It was like a Pit Bull intent on ripping the hell out of a cage for the prize. The big cat was fearless and not afraid of gunfire kicking up dirt at its feet. This year, I personally had a confrontation with a mountain lion that was hell bent on a goat or a chicken dinner for the second time. I have known clients that have had their faces torn up while they were asleep by dogs. We just had a man minding his own business killed/eaten alive by a black bear in Prescott, AZ and a female mountain lion and her 3-yearling youngsters destroyed for living off of cats and dogs in the same area. I used to think aggressive dogs had reasons for being like they are, you know hereditary factors, no leadership, no training, abused and or neglected but something else is at play here. Oh boy, not again! I’m a retired professional all breed dog trainer of 45 years and as time goes by something just isn’t right. The couple moved to Sierra Vista in 2018. Her dog Lilly was found deceased in the alley, according to the Sierra Vista Police Department.
